Hard at Work

Some of my fondest memories were formed gardening with my mother. It warms my heart to watch as Mia learns to love gardening with Grams as well. One of the first things she wants to do every morning is run right out to Grams, who almost always has a strawberry waiting for her.

A little for the strawberries, a little for Mia.

I'm not sure why, but she never wants to water anything but the strawberries. Sometimes we take pity on the poor plants, and try to distract Mia with another fun activity. It doesn't usually work, as you can tell from the crocodile tears in the picture below.

Speaking of hard work, my wonderful husband is excelling in Medical School. He asked me not to post his actual class ranking, but let's just say that at the end of his first term, he's at the high end of the top ten percent. I'd love him the same if he flunked himself out, but I sure am proud of all the hard work he's put in. And somehow he still makes time for us! Love you babe!

Shh... don't tell

Don't tell anyone (especially not me, as I might psyche myself out about it) but I think I'm going to creep back into the blogging world. Don't expect too much too fast, but I'm going to make the effort. This is a time of my life I'd like to remember.

Less importantly, I feel like I've blog stalked so many people for so long that it's probably time for me to give back to the blogging community. No more mooching.

I'm going to keep this short, but I won't commit the blasphemy of blogging without pictures.
